Operational Overview
WellDog’s operations team has tested over 120 wells in basins around North America
without a safety or lost instrument incident. WellDog maintains strict safety standards
including CPR training, a regular drug testing program, field hazard management
training, and regular equipment review and maintenance.
The company’s operations are governed by a mature, industry-standard workflow process.
WellDog delivers services under Master Service Agreement terms. (An example
agreement is available upon request.) Customer Work Orders govern specific
jobs.
A signed Work Order initiates job pre-planning and scheduling procedures.
These procedures include transferring basic reservoir information from the customer
to WellDog, including well structure, target coal seam(s), and well drilling, completion
and production history. In addition, our operations team works with you to
schedule tests at the most appropriate times, minimizing disruption to drilling
and completions operations, and minimizing surface landowner concerns as well.
WellDog’s field team usually meets with customer representatives prior to each job
to discuss well site particulars and safety concerns.
WellDog’s instrument is rigorously tested and standardized to validate its performance
throughout a job — calibrations are established in the laboratory and field-checked
before and after each wellbore trip.
WellDog arrives at the well site with the appropriate equipment and a field operations
team. A standard analysis requires two to three hours per coal seam or well.
Our support vehicle is equipped with a satellite communications system that automatically
streams raw data back to WellDog’s central Data Analysis and Interpretation Center,
ensuring that your data is immediately archived.
Fully-vetted results are available within three business days.
