Inc. magazine ranks WellDog as the 88th fastest growing private company in the United States

Laramie, Wyoming (20 August 2013) – Inc. magazine announced today that WellDog is the 88th fastest growing private company in the United States, according to its annual listing of private companies. WellDog helps natural gas, oil and coal producers around the world reduce greenhouse gas emissions, preserve water resources and improve safety and profitability.

WellDog’s 3,758 percent three-year growth rate established it as the 88th fastest growing company in the nation, 7thout of all energy companies, and the only Wyoming-based company on the list. To be considered for this list candidate companies had to grow more than 918 percent between 2010 and 2012. The average company accepted to the list grew 2,900 percent over that time period.

Started in 1999 and venture-backed from 2004 to 2007, WellDog has combatted a decade of unexpected financial and market headwinds by developing and commercializing new technical services and products into highly active geomarkets in order to build a diversified and vertically integrated business.

Inc. magazine annually ranks the fastest growing private companies in the United States. For the past 32 years name brand companies including Microsoft, Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Patagonia and Oracle have gained early exposure on the Inc. 500 list.
