U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issues key gas testing patent to WellDog

September 26, 2010 (Laramie, Wyoming USA) – WellDog announced today that it has received U.S. patent 7,821,635 entitled “In-situ detection and analysis of methane in coal bed methane formations with spectrometers.”  The patent excludes competitors from using its proprietary coal gas testing and evaluation inventions.

This patent builds on U.S. patent 6,678,050 in protecting WellDog’s flagship gas testing business lines while adding to the company’s broad portfolio of issued patents and patent applications pending around the world.
