WellDog Non-Executive Director Highlighted in CNBC’s Energy Future

BRISBANE (April 30, 2014) – WellDog announced today that its non-executive director, Simon Ashton, was invited to participate in Energy Future, an executive brainstorming event, on the company’s behalf at Fraser’s Kings Park in Perth, recently.

Hosted by CNBC International in association with Shell, and held in conjunction with APPEA,  participants were challenged to explore how Australia can innovate to help meet a growing need for energy, as demand in the Asia-Pacific region is forecast to double by 2030. The session was recorded for CNBC’s Energy Future.

“I was delighted to represent WellDog, driving debate and innovation” said Ashton, “We challenged convention and pondered how we could best use technology and our natural resources to retain and enhance Australia’s leading position as a reliable, economic and environmentally responsible global supplier of energy, whilst also delivering a carbon neutral foot print.  Clearly a good fit with WellDog’s experience and expertise.”

WellDog provides technology to the oil & gas, mining and alternative energy sectors, and has operations in Australia and North America.
